Dear Birth Mother,

We realize that choosing a home and family for your child may be the most difficult and important decision you will ever make. We will try our best to provide you with answers to your questions and information that you need in helping you to choose our family to adopt your child. We want to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you.

We have been married 8 years. Those years have been filled with love and laughter. We have endured years of pain and surgery in an effort to become a family, we are so thankful for the opportunity that adoption will allow us to complete our dreams of becoming parents. Thankfully we were left healthy and ready to raise a family through adoption. Having a family has always been in our plan.

 

We are a complimentary couple, each bringing something different to the relationship. This allows us to balance each other out and truly makes us each whole. We own our home in a warm close-knit neighborhood with many children; a lifetime of friendships to develop. We look forward to seeing a little girl or boy playing in our yard, running in the sprinkler or swinging on the playset.

Our family and friends are a big part of our lives. One of the things we are most proud of is our parents, both married over 30 years. They are great role models for a loving and happy relationship. Our parents, 2 siblings and 2 nieces are all very supportive and thrilled that we are anticipating adoption. We have often been told that we would make wonderful parents. We think so too.

Our hearts are filled with so much love, you can be sure we will cherish a child. We think it is important to expose children to as many experiences as possible. We strongly believe in providing all the resources possible to further any educational aspirations that your child may have.

Although we know the pain and anguish of being childless for so many years, we don’t presume to know what pain your heart bears. But you are remarkable and we thank you for your values and your courage in allowing this soul to live and for your wisdom and strength in choosing adoption. We promise that should you choose us as the adoptive parents of your child, we will provide all the nurturing, love, guidance and support that this precious little person deserves.
